Nutritionals You Can Trust
Dr. Myron Wentz received a B.S. in Biology from North Central College, Naperville, Illinois, an M.S. in Microbiology from the University of North Dakota, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Utah. After joining a pathology group in Peoria, Illinois in 1969, Dr. Wentz served as infectious disease specialist and directed the microbiology and immunology laboratories for three hospitals in the Peoria area until 1973. In 1974 Dr. Wentz founded Gull Laboratories, Inc. which was a developer and manufacturer of medical diagnostic test kits. Over the years at Gull, Dr. Wentz Nourished and Nurtured trillions upon trillions of human cells in petri dishes while also developing groundbreaking viral diagnostic assays. Although Dr. Wentz has developed over 30 viral test kits used all over the world, he is most famous for developing the first commercially available test for diagnosing infection with the Epstein-Barr virus. In a special ceremony in Jerusalem, June 25, 2007 Global Capital Associates awarded Dr. Wentz the coveted Albert Einstein Award in recognition of his Outstand Achievement in the Life Sciences. Dr. Wentz’s remarks upon receiving the award: “I am honored and humbled to receive an award that bears the name of Albert Einstein. As both an extraordinary scientist and dedicated humanitarian, he serves as a great inspiration for my life’s work, helping people lead healthier lives through nutritional science.”
Along his journey Dr. Wentz has written several books: Invisible Miracles, which contains a few editorial vignettes outlining Dr. Wentz’s lifelong quest, with an emphasis on cellular nutrition, sharing the fight against one of the worlds’ greatest challenges – chronic degenerative disease – and his hope that true health can be realized for future generations everywhere; and A Mouth Full of Poison, confirming the fact that the body’s cells cannot maintain their health with mercury in the mouth. In addition, Dr. Wentz has recently written a forward for the newest edition of Dr. Ladd McNamara’s book, The Cholesterol conspiracy, in which Dr. McNamara offers “more than convincing evidence that while statin drugs can lower blood cholesterol, there is no improvement in the risk of heart disease or heart attack and no reduced risk of death.”
As if all this were not enough, in 1998 Dr. Wentz founded Sanoviv, a holistic, integrated facility combining conventional medical assessment and treatment with alternative medical diagnostics and healing therapies, where non-toxic materials were used in every step of it construction and furnishings. Sanoviv offers anti-aging/wellness programs and is run on the belief that the body has the power to heal itself when provided with the proper nutrients and when relieved of its accumulated toxic burdens! AND, he not only has Sanoviv, but at least 2 more such facilities in other parts of the world where he believes he can help the most undernourished and impoverished people.
The integrity that IS Dr. Wentz, led him to develop an entire line of nutritional supplements, the quality of which is so high, they stood up to the rigorous standards of Pharmaceutical testing and made it into the Physician’s Desk Reference, based on safety, effectiveness and potency.
If you take supplements of any kind, you should be aware that supplements, unlike drugs, ARE NOT required to meet minimum standards in terms of 1. Safety and effectiveness; 2. Labels that clearly identify the substance’s purpose, direction for use, warnings, active ingredients and expiration dates; 3. Purity, potency, quality and dissolvability as set by the U.S. Pharmacopeia; and 4.
Assurance that the substances are made by a registered manufacturer accountable to the FDA, or better, that the company HOLDS THEMSELVES ACCOUNTABLE TO THE HIGHEST OF STANDARDS.
Serious concerns have been raised about over-the-counter supplements’ purity, potency, shelf-life, and bio-availability (your body’s ability to absorb and use the substance). Part of the problem with supplements is that they are viewed by the FDA as “food,” not drugs, and it’s for this reason that, as it stands, you take supplements strictly at your own risk.
